Dutch Mamba’s at Adria Bowl III

the dutch mamba’s went to Croatia with a small team. only 5 players to be precise. this is of course a team build with the most important element of the holle game. having FUN!

Yes one thing was sure that they had. that was FUN. with players like Leroy Teunis, Jordi Anrochte, Alejandro Alvarez and Ocean Elegna. was it one of the best line ups that Coach Demy de Groot had ever made. luckily form him after a green light from the organisation. could 2 of the Mamba players that play in the dutch league with the Amsterdam Panthers also join them this tournament. we are talking about the great players Angga And Levi.
there was only one little problem. the Amsterdam panthers were also at the Adria Bowl. luckily they played in the elite devision and the mamba’s were set in the leisure devision after making notice that the would have only 5 players.

Now begins the real story of the tournament.
after a shocking but really loving draft we were announced as one of the favourites. yes in the beginning we were rocking it with smiles and wins. we still belief that we were the biggest winners of the holle tournament. because we have made friends with all teams that we played and created amazing bonds between the Dutch Mamba’s and so many team.

let call it “Mamba Magic”

making friends having FUN and making sure that the game of Flag Football was enjoyed in to the fullest.

yes day one was a day with a lot of wins. with the Mamba squad we were unstoppable. only there was one problem. injuries! all the injuries had made it impossible to keep playing. only there was hope thanks to all the friends that we had made. we could still play the game. we had help from the frosty foxes, Nierstein Bulls and Amélie Stüssi (she was there as photographer from the Vienna Jets).

yes it looked like it was an NFL Showcase team. it even felt like one. no one would ever see some thing this great happening some were els then at this great tournament. the place were making friends and growing the flag football community is one of the most Important items on the agenda.

so we from the Dutch Mamba’s (how were more the European Mamba’s in the end) can say proudly that there was no better tournament win then the one that we have made with all these friends that we have made.
